Canada held the largest Express Entry draw of this year 2019 on July 10 since January 23, 2019
Express Entry draw which was held on July 10 had some very good news for candidates who were waiting to receive an Invitations To Apply. Under Express Entry program IRCC issued 3,600 Invitations To Apply to eligible candidates in its 121st draw. This is the biggest draw since the start of 2019. With the exception of one Federal Skilled Trade program draw held on May, in all the 10 draws since the beginning of the year, only 3,350 candidates obtained Invitation To Apply.
This larger number of draw shows Canada has the intention to attract more skilled immigrants in 2019 and 2020 to the country through Express Entry Program.
There are 3 subcategories, managed by the Express Entry system.
a portion of Provincial Nominee Program
Candidates are ranked based on scores for factors such as age, education, skilled work experience and proficiency in English or French. The candidates who meet the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score have issued an Invitation To Apply for permanent residency.
Despite the fact there was a significant increase in the number of ITAs which has issued in this last draw, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score only decreased, 2 points. The last draw cut-off score was 462 points on June 26, and it was 460 on July 10 draw. The last three draws cut-off score shows decreased in each one, from 465 to 462 and now to 460 which is a piece of very good news for the candidates in the pool of express Entry, with a very close score.
As we see many changes happening to the Express Entry Program since January 2019, we highly recommend that you start your Express Entry profile and give yourself the chance to receive an ITA in the future draws.
